Wow! I can’t believe how informative your class was. This is the first baby for my husband and I and we really had no idea how much we needed to learn. Your class opened our eyes to the unexpected, and now we feel prepared and confident for our childbirth experience. You explained things in a way that was so easy for us to understand and your enthusiasm for childbirth was truly inspiring. We thank you so much! And, the bagels were delicious too! We can’t wait to have our baby!

Hey Leanora and Donna
Here are some pictures of our daughter, Rianna Rose Krempa. She was born on March 24th at 5:52pm by C-Section. She weighed 6 lbs 6 oz. and was 18 ½ inches long and I can’t forget the full head of dark hair.
I was in labor contracting for about 12 hours and still had not dialated. Rianna had not dropped either and I have a small frame. My doctor suggested a c-section b/c no matter how much and hard I was contracting, there was no way that the baby would fit. So, basically it was a no brainer….C-Section it was. I didn’t want any stress to the baby. So that’s my story.
She is an absolute dream. We are so very happy and so very blessed.
Oh, and the baby’s room is still not done! LOL. I will send some more updated pictures in another email.

Hi Donna and Leanora,
We just wanted to let you know that James Francesco was born on 2/21/08 at 10:29p. He was 7 lbs 14 oz and 21inches. I had him 5 days early and was actually induced. I had been at my doctor and they were worried about my blood pressure being high and possibly pre-eclampsia so I was sent to the hospital for labs. From there they decided I was at risk because 2 values were off and they kept me. My water was broken on 2/21 at 7:30 in the morning. I ended up never progressing past 3cm so I ended up having a section done. Turns out I was never supposed to deliver him vaginally because there was a knot in the cord which we all know would not have been good if it was constricted. Even though I didn't get too far I did keep in mind our class which helped.
We all have been home for about 2 1/2 weeks and outside of the sleep deprivation, things are going well.
Just wanted to share the news with you both. We had a great time at all the classes and I have recommended you guys to another friend who is pregnant.

Thank you for your private class in my home. My daughter Morgan was amazing and extremely mature, no one thought she was 14. She was so well coached. It was also wonderful to have my friend Heather there. There is nothing like the support of another woman! We did let my husband Danny in also!
The ball was a big hit and I found it very useful. Thank you for all your help.

Hi Leanora, I just wanted to thank you and Donna for a great class. Everyone was so  nice. Rose even gave us her number in case we decide we want to use her  doula. I definitely feel more comfortable now that I have a better  understanding of what's going to happen.  Thanks so much. Donna and Leanora Diane asked me to send you an e-mail and let you know what's happening. First, Diane and baby-to-be are fine. She's in South Nassau Hospital in  Oceanside NY as a precautionary measure. We went to a pre-natal visit at the OB on Thursday night - her BP was  high and her feet, ankles and legs were very swollen. They sent us over  to the hospital for monitoring of Diane and the baby. After a perinatal  scan, they determined that the amnionic fluid level is lower than  expected and the placenta is what they called an "old placenta." The baby is still breech at this point. Diane is 36 weeks along today, and they plan to keep her for another  week until she reaches 37 weeks, at which point they will perform a  C-section delivery. They'd like to wait until 37 weeks if they can so  that the baby's lungs are fully matured, but they may act sooner if  vital signs and amnionic fluid levels should change. Diane's in great spirits; she's beautiful as ever, and she is of course,  a tough cookie. She is quite disappointed that the "natural" path that we envisioned  isn't quite the path we're headed down.  Nonetheless, we are grateful that we are receiving such great care and attention. A very special heartfelt thank you to you and Lenore for your real-life  advice during your New Baby Belly class. Your class has made us feel  much more comfortable with what's happening around us, which, in turn,  has greatly reduced our level of fear and stress. Your caring and  availability to us even after the class ended demonstrates why you will be immensely successful.  If we are lucky enough to have another child in our future, we  absolutely will contact you about Doula services if vbac is an option.  At the risk of sounding corny, May God Bless you both, Chris Petillo

Hi Donna, This is Leah. Not sure if you would remember me, but my husband Rich and I took lots of Babies R us classes with you and many others. You actually helped us decide to us Dr. Martocci. I just wanted to thank you for all the valuable information, it has all come in very handy. We could be nervous parents, but instead we are well educated and learning new things everyday about us and Mackenzie. Mackenzie was born July 2, 2007 8:01 AM. He was 7 pounds 10 ounces. The 1st picture is from his birthday, they next picture he is 3 weeks old.

Hello Donna and Leanora,  We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed taking your childbirth preparation class. The class was both personal and informative. Although baby has not yet arrived, we both feel a lot more at ease with the upcoming delivery. Today is my official due date, so soon we will get to put all the techniques and suggestions you gave us into practice. I will keep you posted.   Christine & Greg

Thank you so much for having us at the class last night. It was very informative and fun at the same time. You are exactly the kind of people who should be teaching classes like that, you managed to make it informative, fun, and very interactive.... much different than most of what is out there.
