Pre-Natal Yoga class helps Mom's-to-be relax their body and mind as well as time to deepen your relationship with your baby. This class also allows an opportunity for moms-to-be to connect with other expectant mothers.

Prenatal yoga strengthens and stretches muscles, opens hips and pelvis, releases tension and helps to maintain good posture, preparing the body for labor, delivery, and recovery.

It is designed to maximize the benefits of yoga while respecting the limitations of pregnancy.  Learn how to relax through gentle yoga movements and by bringing awareness to the breath. This class teaches breathing techniques associated with labor which helps the expectant mother to deal with stresses related to pregnancy.

Each participant should bring a yoga mat, and a pillow. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

Our yoga classes are taught individually, but may be purchased as a series for a discounted rate.  For one class it is $20, for a series of six weekly classes it is $90.   To register online click here  or call 516-804-8620.
